Our coffee story is much wider, much higher and much deeper than meets the eye. We began making coffee at Seven Wonders the first week of January 2003 on our first espresso machine. Less than 3 months later we had won the Irish Barista Championship (the main coffee making competition in the world by country) and were off to Boston to represent Ireland in the World Barista Championship.
After the Walmart mass shooting, some local teachers made a social media request for their students, asking for people to send postcards with kind or loving words.One school got a lot more than expected.More than 600 pair of heart shaped glasses were delivered to Hillside Elementary for every student and teacher.The creator of the glasses said when people look through the glasses they’re making a pledge to see the good in the world and to be good to others.“Love glasses revolution. Choosing to see the world with love.It is so simple,” said Tara Ijai, the owner of Love Glasses Revolution.Ijai drove from Phoenix to deliver the sunglasses after reaching out to her community for donations.
We decided to make to the trip to a second elementary school in El Paso to spread the love.We visited Tom Lea Elementary School, hope you enjoy it, the students and teachers were excited to get their Love Glasses.

How would you like to be part of a revolution? A movement that embraces our similarities and focuses on love?A Phoenix-area company just might be selling what you're looking for.Tara Ijai was having a bad day a few months ago. Hoping to cheer her up, her brother sent her a picture of a guinea pig wearing heart-framed sunglasses."I decided I'm going to make a choice to choose to live," said Ijai.
Tara Ijai was 28 when she converted to Islam and chose to wear a hijab, a head covering traditionally worn by Muslim women.Two months later, on Sept. 11, 2001, her faith made her a target.Ijai’s father called her in Arizona and cried when he asked her not to wear her hijab. He was afraid someone might hurt her.But Ijai told him, "I chose this. I believe in this."
